Viper GPS tracking....

Looking for minumum 5 people....Details can be found here:

VIPER GPS

FIRST PERSON TO RESPOND WILL BE $570 INSTALLED

Im just doing this to get it out there. Price is $650 installed, people that already have DEI ESP2 systems are $625 installed. Price may go slighly down depending on how many people and how fast people sign up.

Please email me for any questions or more details. I do not get email notifications like most of you, so I would need to check manualy to see new posts.

BTW...for the LoJack fans...LoJack is NOT GPS tracked, and you CANNOT personally control and or track your vehicle with it.

Basically, if I am understanding the website correctly, the 791 would work well with the GPS tracking. Since the features of the GPS system seem to not overlap with the regular remote start / alarm system, but instead, enchance its capabilities.

Just to clarify....Ammi this works with your 791. Ch13f you are correct. Anyone with a current ESP2 system can fully operate it via Phone,PDA, or computer. Alerts are all sent in same forms as well.

Ammi, yes as for the amount is alot, but your looking at it in the wrong perspective. It is not "just" an alarm after adding the GPS. Ie: you go on vacation, driving of course, now your in the middle of no where and you locked your keys in your car...Who are you going to call? I know I can call and log into my Viper GPS and press a button. Then your doors unlock. You get a flat in the pouring rain...make a call for your included roadside assistance.

Better yet...your car gets stolen while your away on vacation (car was left home) Someone tries to steal it, you then know within seconds via phone,PDA,email, etc. Car is then tracked and safe. LoJack cannot do that and they sell for around the $900 range to do nothing. In the same instance your car gets stolen Monday and you return Friday to find it missing...call the police and LoJack. Being that LoJack uses a repeater and estimates the distance it could have traveled they then alaert the authorities in that range and "TRY" to recover it. Well its been 5 days, could be Anywhere in the country. Most likely wont be found. Viper GPS..tracked within seconds.

Theres tons more that I can type, so if anyone has more questions feel free to gimme a call: 732-921-9046.

The first year is included for tracking in event of theft or in other terms violation of your "geofence". Other options are referred to as "uses" Each years subscription is in two forms security&safety is $89 for 30 uses, and Ultra is $119 for 150 uses. This is all renewable anytime. Bigger/better priced plans are in the works now.

So what if you don't have an alarm period or just a factory alarm? Would you have to get an alarm with this or is this its own alarm system?

Mike...It can be used by itself. The only benefit as to having the alarm is controling it through the GPS.

Jairo...Definately be over by then. LoL

Since this uses GPS, how come it doesn't have navigation built in? Or does viper make such devices that act as navigation system as well as "security" system? I mean if I would be paying for GPS service every month, would the same subscription be used for lets say your own navigation system?

prolly a stupid Q, but I am new to GPS...

GPS navigation does not have a monthly access fee. Viper GPS also does not unless you want to use the features of unlocking, locking doors, remote starting your car,etc..Then their is a yearly subscription fee.

BTW..there are not stupid questions...only the ones you Dont ask.
