O2 Sensors Group Deal!!
#81
I think I'll check and see if they'd accept credit/paypal and still offer a 10% discount for those. Anyone interested in that?

Deal still alive? I need front 2 O2 sensors
Can you see if they'll take a credit card over the phone? I don't mind if it's 10% off instead of the 15% since I need it soon. Gas mileage is going down the tube

I'll ask again about that. As far as I know, D1NOnly34 is the only one who got these. With that response, I can see why they wouldn't open the deal up again.

Go to www.oxygensensors.com and pick out the sensors you want (don't pay for them). Print out that paper, and mail the paper and money order for 85% of the order total on the printout, to that company. I can't promise this'll still work, but they haven't told me it's over. You gotta read the thread and look at the website. Find the sensor you need, multiply it by 0.85 to get your price. The warrenty is the same as they offer for all their sales.

They haven't told me that it's not, but they also haven't returned my emails. I doubt they'd turn you down if you sent in money orders, but you never know. Sorry.

I am sure this has already been posted and I am just missing it but I have a 99 california Max and I wanna replace all of the oxygen sensors....are there 4 total? 2 in the front and 2 downstream or just 1 downstream? Also what is the best brand to go with? Finally how much does it cost to install these?

Just get the Walker or Bosch OEM types. Install them yourself...

$291.92 x 0.85 = $248.13 shipped Why replace all of them? The front 2 control the air/fuel mixture so why replace them all?

What do the 2 downstream sensors do?? Also you need to get under your car to replace them right....how easy is it?? Cause I have done a ton of electrical and cosmetic MODS but not much power or replacement MODS so I don't wanna *** anything up....thanks jatan!

On a Fed spec car, the front 2 control the air/fuel mixture and the rear one just checks to see if the cat is running right or something. I'm assuming it's the same setup for Cali spec cars, but you guys probably have 2 in the rear to see if you car is performing right emission wise. My advise would be to replace the front 2 and only do the rear 2 if you get a code for them later on.
To replace them, follow the wire from the sensor to the car and then unplug the connector. Take out the old sensors (you might not have enough room with an O2 sensor socket, so use a 22mm wrench). Put on some anti-seize on the thread part (DO NOT get it on the sensor part) and put in the new sensors on your y-pipe. Now plug the connectors back in and you're done
It'll be plug-and-play if you get the OEM type sensors.

Of course if you want to save $20 just get the universal ones. If you do get the universal one, you can either follow Jatan's instructions to remove it, or you can do it under the car. I know removing it might be kinda hard cause from my experience the O2 sensor cable has a few clips on it that are attached to several parts on the car so that the cable doesn't move around and get burned by the pipes.
