GD: $90 Shipped Motostorm UDP Pulley Paypal Preferred
Would this be accurate (see below)? but I think this is in reference to Unorthodox UDP. Anyone know if the specs (size/diameter) of Unorthodox and Motostorm UDPs are the same?
https://maxima.org/faq-4-Performance.html
· What size belts will I need for the UDP since it is smaller?
The part number you need are: Gates K060408 and K040292 or K040300. If your local parts store does not carry Gates belts, they will be able to tell you the part numbers for the brands they carry.

Installed yesterday, took it for a drive yesterday and today. The motor definatly revs faster than before. But where it REALLY shines is on the highway
. 60mph to 85+mph is a breeze on my 5spd. No need to go WOT to get to that speed fast, this pulley makes it easier to get there w/o the pedal to the metal.
Bottom line- City drivers will like the faster reving motor, especially auto since it gets them out of the low rpms faster (we did StreetzLegend's pulley right after mine and he's auto). Highway drivers will love it, it accelerates for passing like you wouldn't believe
. You guys made a great product, thanks for bringing it to the org

I just finished my install, went pretty good. I used the blip method. I had to take off the starter and have a friend hold a HUGE screwdriver in the teeth.
For those that used the 408 belt for the A/C and Alt, I don't know how you fit that thing on there. I could barely get the 410 on there!
I used a 310 for the P/S belt. That went on a bit loose, but tightened down very nicely with the tension adjuster.
To remove the old belts, I simply used a carpet knife and cut the buggers off. The belts were over 140,000 miles old.
Driving around town in my auto I see a very sudden jump at 3500rpm's, much faster than it was before. This is a great supporting mod for your intake and exhaust IMO because it allows the car to rev into the 3500+ range (where I see most of my added power from my mods) and also allows us autos to get off the line faster. This is a great mod for 70 bucks. I wouldn't be suprised if this mod gives an extra 5hp at the crank. Thanks again to all who helped set this up, and thanks especially to Brett for getting us these pulleys!

this is not funny, your response made me chuckle though. please pm me for my number and we'll see what we can figure out. sorry scopium. i really feel bad that you don't have yours yet. see what today brings.
Installed mine this weekend. I re-used the stock PS belt (and the 408 for the AC). I had no problem getting the belts on/off but I did have to enlarge the inner bore of the pulley to get it to fit on the crank, which was annoying and time consuming.
I haven't had a chance to really drive around much (or do a couple hard runs) but first impression is that the engine revs a bit easier and it does feel like there's a bit more power available when accelerating around town (ie-at part throttle without flooring it). I can't feel a large power increase as I'm 5-spd and already have full intake, headers, exhaust etc but the throttle response does seem to be somewhat better.
One thing I noticed: at idle the pulley seems to wobble a little bit (and so the engine sounds slightly rougher) and I'm wondering if it's not perfectly balanced? The pulley is seated and torqued down fine... or would overtightening the AC belt have anything to do with this?
How did you guys determine when the tension was right? The specs are 3.8 -4.1 mm at 20 lbs pressure.. but how are you supposed to accurately apply 20 lbs of pressure from under the car and properly measure the deflection? lol. I know it's not loose as there's no squeal but I'm wondering if maybe I tightened it too much...

you are the only one i have heard having a "wobling issue". are you sure you didn't take off too much material when you were "opening" up the bore of the pulley? you should not have had to remove much and it should have been very quick process...a min or two w/ some emery paper if that. most ppls went on fine. mine was very tight, but it did go on with a little effort. hope you didn't mess up the pulley by removing too much material. hope this helps for your refrence. anyone else want to chime in?
ok, there are four guys that want the pulley at this point, and i believe brett is out of pulleys. his next order is almost done, and will have 50 more. hold tight for a bit until i find out what the schedule is and how brett wants to run this next batch so we can avoid some of the issues we had with this one regarding shipping and final delivery date on this new order. (this next run was started about the middle of the last gd, so i don't think that the wait will be nearly as long this time.) we may have one or two left at this point, but i think those are spoken for already, so as soon as i talk to brett, i will post up instructions for the new gd. thanks guys and check back tonight for more info.

I hope I didn't take too much off the pulley!! I'd kick myself for being careless if I did as I was pressed for time doing it...but I don't *think* so, as I sanded and test-fitted a couple times until it went on, and it wasn't that loose. I definitely couldn't get it on initially, even tapping it with a block and rubber hammer.
I think/hope it may be mostly that I overtightened the AC belt. I adjusted the tension on both belts again last night and now it's 90% gone... just a very slight wobble and only at idle. I'll probably just have to live with it at this point...
three left on hand...first come first serve $90 plus $5 shipping. that is what the next gd will be. sale will start when final production is done and run for 3 weeks. i will post more details as we get closer to being done. look for more deals to come

let me know whats up with payments and such...
i asked him about it yesterday and again today. please contact brett directly regarding this. i don't know what the issue is. he has told me over and over and over again he sent all of them out. where your mail is delivered, does anyone else have access to it? front porch, or door way? an apartment where anyone can pick it up if it's left outside a door or unsecured? the only thing i can think of is that someone may have swiped it from your mail...my mother had some books stolen from her front door by some crack addict looking to make some money off of whatever was in the box...and she lives in the nicer area of town.
i am not sure what else to tell you other than contact brett and express your concerns clearly but don't be an a*s*s about it. be respectful and you'd be surprised what people will do for you. sorry there isn't more i can do about this for you. pm me if you need help. i don't want you to be left hangin.

this was only one page back...
intalled mine yesterday for 25 bucks in the shop, not hard at all.
the pulley does fit pretty tight, so all we do is hammered it in a little bit, then use the power tools to "punch-screw" it in. fits perfect.
after installation:
drives good, idles pretty smooth. i notice gains mainly in the low end and high end. mid range is slightly felt. however, i have to say, the gain i got with this pulley feels like the gains i got when i put in the jwt ecu. with all the mods i have already, this pulley makes it even stronger. for 70 bucks, this is really bang for the buck, too.
good deal.
