The front is nothing like the rear. You need to shorten the strut housing to get more travel.

the fronts have to have shorter struts like MZMTG sais. The mounts cannot be modified because of clearance between the towers and the hood im guessing...

So these are basically the same thing as the Motivational Rear Mounts that they used to sell, mzmtg?

Just curious....I have never messed with this stuff that much, and I remember last year, everyone was wanting the Motivational rear mounts.

Thanks...

Different materials, different design, same function, 2/3 price.

Is there any drilling/major "mess with the frame or body" stuff involved?
I am interested.

No, this is a direct replacement for the OEM part. No cutting or drilling or anything is needed.

these mounts are sick, I got them off Ben almost two years ago (the same time cyrus did). They make the ride a lot smoother and less bouncy. My front bottoms out a lot sooner than the rear thanks to those

Just so everyone knows, my power is out due to the hurricane that came through yesterday. That means I can't check my Email at home (in addition to it being blocked here at work). I am still taking orders and will reply to everyone as soon as I can.

I will be doing the same type of deal when I get the 5th gen parts ready.

However, after seeing the pics of 1MAX2NV's D2 coilovers, I dont think these types of mounts would work with them.

Are you being sarcastic?

No one has bought 5th Gen mounts from me because I haven't made them yet.

You need to come up with a name for these..."Benivational rear mounts" or "Whitemax's favorite long-thrust rear mounts" or something along those lines...

On VQPower.com they are called "Ben's Suspension Rear Strut Mounts"

That's the name I'll be using.

I'll be down for a set when the next batch comes out. How much would it be shipped to Hawaii(96795)?

Does anyone know if Tokico Illumina's come with rear shock mounts or do you re-use the factory ones. For a 4th gen, that is.

They do not come with new rear mounts.

You re-use the original mounts, or at least that's what *I* plan on doing today. I'm not sure why they would need to be replaced, but maybe that will become obvious when I remove mine.

I asked my Nissan parts department about the mounts, and they said they stock the bearings but not the mounts, which tells me that they don't get replaced very often.
