i wish there were some silvers left for 02-03

 

so whats the diff from a bomz intake? i bought one for $50 and setup is actually the same. you can also just replace the filter w/ a K&N.

 

I actually had a Bomz CAI before my Place Racing CAI and though they look simillar, they're very different. The quallity of the Place CAI is much better. The metal tube walls are thick and heavy duty. The Bomz racing CAI is okay ut is made of very thin aluminum and bends easy. Also the PR CAI goes through a 2 step poweder coat process that lasts a long time, while my Bomz CAI looks painted by spray paint and the paint is actually flaking off on the inside which scares me because that crap could be going into my engine. Don't get me wrong I liked the Bomz CAI when I first got it, but for this deal on the PR CAI with the Monsterflow filter its so worth it. Even if you spend a little more for it. Just remember. "You get what you pay for."

i think i'll get a red, i dont think yellow and blue are too hot. i told brian i'd buy a regular cattman silver at regular price during the week, also cuz he'd ship it here at a "nice price." I'll still get both so if you see this mr catts, i'm still takin up the offer! i'll email you after i get the red one (it's not for me) and see how it really looks. i'll hit up usps, but they're probably closed on monday so i'll get the MO on tuesday. yaaayyy

Greg, If my cai was one of the remaining ones from the last GD, do I still have to wait a week or 2?

 

Well, all the CAI are accumulated and then Cattman Performance sends the orders to Place Racing. At that point the CAI are shipped when Place Racing has time to ship them out. It shouldn't take too long, but I can be contacted until all of the CAI are delivered.

I was just wondering if I used this intake as a short ram intake if it would be as efficient as frankencar or berk. i might change mine to a short ram because the filter is pushed up against the plastic fender piece of my car and i tried to adjust the piping but it did not work.

 

would PR CAI from 5.5gen fit on a 5gen?

If you use the PR CAI as a short ram it will wotk better than a frankencar or berk. The monsterflow filter works way better than the filters you get with those other intakes. I know this from seeing a car dynoed with a Franken car intake with an Apexi filter. It made less Horspower and torque.

Yes it comes with all of that. The Cattman CAI should have came with a decal. You can email Cattman and they can send you one if you want.
