D2 Racing Coilovers. $700 SHIPPED. do NOT miss out !

THIS DEAL IS OVER. DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT GETTING INTO THIS DEAL CUZ ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

I just spoke with the folks over at www.advautoparts.com and they can setup this deal for us. Here are the prices:

for 10 people, $720 Shipped to your door.
for 20 people, $700 Shipped to your door.

keep in mind that these coilovers go for about $850 +shipping at other places and rumors has it that they are about to go up in price and break the $1,000 mark. So lets get these while we can. These are available for both A32 and A33 chassies and include the front camber adjustable pillowball mounts .

Official Pics:

Some info on these:
http://forums.max-world.org/index.p...topic=3271&st=0
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=318179

these bad boys are 36 way adjustable and almost have all the features of the JIC FLT-A2 but go for about half the price. Lets do this guys !

p.s i believe this is where 1max2nv got his D2 coilovers from and as far as i remember, he was happy with the service.

UPDATE:
Right now we have well over 20 people in this deal so the price is $700 shipped to anywhere in the USA, there is an additional charge for shipping to canada, contact mark240 for more details !

PAYMENT DETAILS:

Payment details:

The quicker we get payments in, the quicker we can place the order. Payment can by made by PayPal, credit card, money order, check, or wire transfer.

PayPal = keys@zxdriver.com
Please leave a note with your chassis code or year of car and your preferred spring rates.

Credit Card = Call (416) 835-8490 anytime after 9:00am PST

Money Order or Check =
ADV
1051 Clinton Street
Buffalo, NY 14206

Wire transfer =
Email or call me if wire transfer details are required.

We will give a week or two leeway before sending in the spring rates to the manufacture so well they are devoloping the shocks, people may email us to change their spring rates if they wish.
FULL payments MUST be received by 11/25/2004 ! And it might take 4-8 weeks for you to receive these coilovers.

Spring Rates
7/5 = approximately the stock se springs. probably not stiff enough for much of a drop.
8/6 = slightly stiffer, should give you a good range of drops with a decent ride.
9/7 = pretty stiff, but you should be able slam it, basically.
10/8 = getting very stiff, probably not the best for street use.

Note: I (98mikeximase), by no means have anything to do with your order and by no means am in charge of this deal. Mark240 is the seller and he is the person you want to talk to.

More spring rate choices:

If you have a fairly heavy (60lb+) system in the trunk, stick with the previously mentioned spring combinations.

However, for those with no large system and/or who seek higher performance, you may want to reconsider the spring rate combinations. Here's why:
Base spring rates are 7k/5k. If you go up to 8k/6k, front rate increases by 15%, but rear increases 20%. If you go with 9k/7k, front rate increases by 29%, but rear increases 40%. Then if you decide to go with 10k/8k, front increases by 43% and rear by 60%!

Increasing spring rates keeps the car from bottoming out, and leaning as much in turns. But if you use the above mentioned increments, every step up increases the chances of oversteer.
For balanced improvement front and rear, go with 7/5 base, or:
8/5= +15%F, +0%R
9/6= +29%F, +20%R
10/7= +43%F, +40%R
11/8= +57%F, +60%R
12/9= +71%F, +80%R

These rates will retain much better chassis balance, as can be seen from the much closer % increases in spring rates. Fine tuning is done via the rear sway bar to achieve the under/oversteer amount desired.

I have to wait to see how my car can stand 15mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear for Matt's BBK before I do anymore suspension mods. I'll keep my rims before I'll slam it.

Good afternoon everyone, I am Mark from Adv Auto Parts, the company supplying the group buy.

The group buy is for a set of four A32 or A33 D2 racing Coilovers including front camber adjustable pillowball mounts. The prices above are correct:

"for 10 people, $720 Shipped to your door.
for 20 people, $700 Shipped to your door."

These Coilovers will be shipping out of California. Shipping to Canada is an additional $20.

You may choose any custom front and rear spring rate.

Delivery will take 1-2 months after the group buy ends since they will have to be special ordered from overseas. Express shipping service directly from overseas will be available to all participants for an additional $150 which will get you your coilovers in 1-4 days.

Payment can be made by PayPal (preferred), credit card, check, money order, or wire transfer. We are open to any other payment methods. The sooner payments come in, the sooner we can place the order in advanced.

Feel free to post, email me at sales@advautoparts.com, or call me at (416) 835-8490 if you have any questions or would like to place an order.

The 1-2 month wait kinda sucks but the price is amazing since it comes with everything. Does anyone know if these things are durable? NY streets are murderus on your suspension. If these do last, count me in.

well they are going to be shipped overseas and like he said, it takes 1-2 months, it may take 4 weeks and it may take 8 weeks. as far as i remember, 1max2nv got his within 4-5 weeks. The price is a steal and I can wait that long. time flies, we all waited nearly 2 months for warpspeed to ship the y pipe. im sure most of u arent in a rush and neither am I. so lets get these at such good price while we can specially since everything is included..

Please post if you are 100% sure that you are in. we will make payments as we go along and u can pay whenever u are ready to pay so that the sales can be secured.

Here is the official list (post ur name and the chassy)

5k (280 lb)
6k (336 lb)
7k (392 lb)
8k (448 lb)
9k (504 lb)
10k (559) lb

(taken from the first gd)

these are the most common spring rates for these coilovers. the higher the spring rate, the stiffer the ride. stock se springs are apparently close to 7k front/5k rear. on http://maxmods.dyndns.org, there is a section on springs which gives you some spring rates for comparison.

i might be in on this, is there a definite end date?

I got mine from www.advautoparts.com I knew I had to wait so I didn't mind. I'll let you know about the customer service since one of my front one seems to start making noise after a month of driving. I jacked the car up twice already and tighten everything down. I bet the strut is defective.

Put me down for a set for an A33, if it gets to 20 people. I'll get back to you on spring rates when it gets closer to the end.

98MikeXimaSE: You might want to keep the list updated in the 1st post instead of where it is now...

Just for everyone's information. I was notified today that the D2 distributor of USA will soon be setting a minimum selling price for all their retailers in order to control and keep a market for D2 products. This is coming faster than we expected. This group buy may and most likely will be your last opportunity to get D2 coilovers as such a low price.

I've already sent payment as of today for the original price he was selling for.
I cant wait for a GD, JIC messed me up with crappy customer service different pricing of parts from different reps, and ultimately saying they ordered parts for my suspension paid got no parts as promised 30 days from order date no order made.
JICs are great suspension kits, but stroked me on their customer service.
I guess my name can be placed on this GD since I've already paid no matter what the outcome 10 or 20.

What is the warranty like on these? Does the warranty start from the date of purchase or from they day you receive them?
Just wondering since it will take a long time to receive them.
