I doubt the hood comes with the pins. I bought them seperate. You will need pins because the hood latch is a little long and the bumpers for the OEM hood will make the corners stick up a little.

I sent them another email just now. I'll probably get a responce soon. I believe someone bought a color CF hood from Carbon EFX for about $120 more but I'll see if there's any additional discount.

 

any word on if they will sell to those that are definitely in with the ammount of people we have for the gd price???

so 535 shipped? now the kicker and not to be an ***, would the eyelids be made to match the hood? black eyelids with a silver hood would defeat the purpose. I will have the complete amount in about a week and a half or so, so what is the turnaround and what are we looking at with the eyelids? thanks.

Thanks man. I wanted the silver one too, but wasnt sure how it would look on my car, so for an extra bill20 I decided to balk on the silver. If someone gets it on their white maxima I WANT TO SEE IT. Good luck to you guys getting the GD going again. Its a great hood at a great price.

It does come with a hood latch and the underside looks exactly like that one. The latch however is too long. Atleast mine was. Hence the hood pins.

 

so it is fair to say that this gd is done and over i might try to get this going on my own if i can i will post and i only want people to post if they are definitely interested i really want one of these carbon fiber hoods and if i cant get a group deal going i will buy one on my own thanks to all that tried to get this going and i will post if i can get any gd going in the near future good luck to all that tried to get in on this

 

Well guys, since I live so close to Carbon EFX (1 hour away), I went there and picked up a carbon fiber hood. Thanks to BluA32 for the heads up. Finally removed my OEM this past weekend. I tell you guys how it fits. Looks great.

For the rest of you, I remember doing a search a week ago and found a site that had our hoods for $400 and shipping was FREE for this month only. Sorry, but I can't find it again.

I heard the fiber images CF hood is like 9-13 pounds. Now thats light.
Is it worth like $600 bucks? I dont know what you all think.

the carbon efx hood looks like a darker black than other cf hoods...... or is it just me?
