Will highbeams be HID too?

I'm unfamiliar with the hi/lo term...I think it means that one bulb will take care of the high and low beams...is the H13 a hi/lo bulb or just a low beam bulb? Do I need a hi/lo bulb?

Thanks.

the hi/lo beam is usually sold separately. you're right, there's a separate filiment (termonology might be off...) that powers the hi and lo beams. however, it will cost extra for a hi/lo beam setup w/HIDs, and HIDs are bright as hell anyways. don't really need high beams, unless you really want them (and really want to spend the extra $$$) however, i do not know what the price difference would be, so maybe i'm not the best person to respond to your post!

hi there the difference is $30, if you want the high and low beam kit just add $30 for the final price. we just carry in H4, we will have it in H13 in a few weeks. But almost all the costumer got the low beam kit.

If you go back in this thread, there are pics of the 6k, and you can check out my homepage for pics of the 7k. They do match up very well, like maximabest said, due to the H3 6000k bulbs being in such a small housing, they appear to be more blue, and match the 7000k headlights.

hi there yes Max mute, i think the best match is 7000k on the headlights and 6000k fogs, sometimes is difficult to see the pics cause the camera dont show exactly the color of the hids.

Futuremax, thanks for your order, i will process your right now.

Best Regards,

the light output is a little better than 9000k. And the color is white blue with the 7k and blue with the 9k.

you dont need to mod or cut anything, is a completly plug and play kit, you will take a few minutes on the installation. You will need the 9004 lot, we recommend you the 7000k kit.

sorry to ask questions that problably have been asked 10,000 times but,
does the 275 price include the bulbs in the kit for the 7000k? or do you have to purchase those seperate?

if you aim your headlights down low enough you will not be blinding oncoming traffic, and you will not be pulled over for just your headlights alone.

would you post a pic of the hi/lo H4 bulb ? am contemplate about switching to HID and not sure if i want to get the reg (low beam only) or the hi/lo kit.

am in toronto and DRL is mandatory here. how would the kit do in that case ? the DRL voltage (half of reg light) is not high enough to ignite the bulb, will that kill the bulbs ? what concerns would i have bcuz i have DRL. would i need to add a remote control to turn it on ? or i would have to leave the light on at regular level instead of at the DRL level ?

thx for the info.

cheers

good questions, cause you have h4 bulbs. Well for the safe reason on the kit, you should use full power for the ballast and igniter, not half like drl. You should keep the lights in ON position not drls, at that time when you turn it on you will use full power of the system.

i will...thank you for the excellent product, easy install, the most time consuming part was find a place for the ballast and test the stock plug for negative and positive...

6000k are actually a lot more of a crystal color than in pictures, they also just have a hint of blue to them...but go with 7000k if u want, i personally think 6000k or less looks the best on our cars(just me)

anything above 6000k (and even 6000k, stock on cars w/HID is 4100-4300k) you start to loose a lot of light on the road. they look sweet, but 8000k doesn't put a whole lot of useful light on the road, it's just too blue! here's an example
if you notice, the 4300k looks damn good, and if you've ever seen a BMW or audi w/HIDs drivin down the road, they still look blue. k? (this also illustrates that stock ballasts are better, and more versitle. in addition, it points out that retrofits w/projectors are freakin awesome compared to normal lamps)
