Wow, that is a long wait for already paid for product..

 

Yeah that is a bit insane. Its impossible to do a GD on CF hoods if there not already premade in sitting in stock.
I ordered a hood form another vendor two weeks ago and it has arrived and is installed already.

 

thats complete bullsh!t, corey failed to keep his word on giving me compensation for my wait.
oh well, i guess redline is just gonna stay on my **** list, i doubt they care though.

finally i get a pm from redmax on 06/19/06 @ 11:45am....

this is after being told week after week after week after week x 20 that my grill was on the way.

oh, let me not forget... when i talked to him 2wks ago, he said he'd paint it for me and hand deliver it to me the next saturday.

a few days later i call... ask about my grill...

oh, this n this happened and we had to do this and that... blah blah blah

SO I SAID, OK, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET MY GRILL????

he said, ok, im sorry, but ill go ahead and ship it to you. i have the grill right here. BUT IM GONNA HAVE TO CHARGE YOU 60 BUCKS EXTRA SINCE I PAINTED IT FOR YOU (like he did me some favor by doing that... i get paint done free of charge at my work).

this is after i was told that it would be painted free of charge for all the hassle.

2 days later.... STILL NO GRILL!!!

no call or nothing!!!!

so i call, and he said "oh we didnt have a box and someones car got broken into blah blah blah, i have the grill in my hand painted blah blah blah... ill ship it out today and it only takes a day to get there ups ground (only a couple hours away).

STILL NO GRILL!!!!!!!!!

I placed my Order on March 14th....$410 was charged to my CC on March 15th 2006.

Today is July 23 and still NO HOOD !!!
Over 4 Months and Nothing !!!!

Look at your CC statement and see what date your CC was charged for the hood....I have a feeling I ordered mine before you. If so, I have some argument pull when I speak with corey tomorrow.

I know you did cause you convinced me to get mine after you ordered yours. You said you ordered it before you went on vacation and hoped it to be back when you came back. But I got mine before you even though you ordered yours first.
