well ok let me try to clarify this, well because I had four cores to start with and ended up with like one I was short on cores, I bought two more at the beginning of this year which have now been sent out. My cost on new bushings from Nissan went up alot and the fact that they arent getting returned makes it hard to get to everyone on the list in a reasonable time.

New price is 70 with a $25 refundable core charge, I have room for about two of you to pay 70 and get $10 refundable core charge just so I can buy more new bushings and I can jump and get them out faster and cut down on the list. Now I hope you understand I dont want to buy like 10 cores and give everyone full core refunds and end up at the end of this with 10 shifter bushings that dont sell. this is just a way that you can get your bushings faster and have less of a wait (which is waaayyyy to long for everyone i know)

 

you can send payment to larrio if you feel generous and dont want a bushing he has nothing to do with the bushings or any car related product anymore

Since I have to replace my MMs, I might as well do this to aleviate some of the slop in the shifter train.

That's what it's at currently. He should have some more used cores to work with here shortly since some of us bit the bullet and got new OEM ones, so the price may drop down for a short time. You picked a good time to want one.

 

Attempted to install mine tonight and hit a road bump. Getting the heat shield off was easy enough, the problem is getting access to the 14mm bolt that holds the linkage to the bushing. I simply did not have the room to jerk it loose, because it's on tight and the bushing will stretch/rotate as you apply torque to it. Looks like my exhaust needs dropped first. No idea how those other guys were able to get that nut off without dropping the exhaust.

I've wanted one of these for a while.

 

FINALLY got mine in today. Installation was more or less what people have described already. I have about 120k on the original, so for me there was an immediate and noticeable improvement. Sloppy shifts, be gone!
