These filters have excellent seals...they're thick and pliable...probably moreso than the OEM filters. I have these filters in each of my vehicles and they fit pretty snug...several other customers have commented on how good the seal is and how tight they fit...particularly on the models where the filter slides into the housing.

I believe I posted this comment a few years ago when a member asked about the snug fit of the AMSOIL Ea Air filter. Snug is good since no dirt is allowed to get around the seal.

Concerning the ATF, 12 quarts will be more than enough to completely flush your system. If you have any left over it can be used in your power steering system and it will provide the same benefits of reduced wear, cooler operation and increaced component reliability compared to conventional fluids. It features a high-zinc formulation to prevent wear on flat-tappet camshafts and other critical engine components, along with a proprietary blend of rust and corrosion inhibitors for added protection during long-term storage. Z-ROD Synthetic Motor Oil is designed to perform on the street and protect during storage.
Protects Flat-Tappet Cams: The lifters and cam lobes on flat-tappet camshafts common to high performance vehicles slide rapidly against one another, producing high friction and heat.
