Update:

We have had them over a month in the Edge and they are working perfectly. My wife refers to it as the "portable sun" when the high beams are lit. The 35w is generally enough light where it will not draw unnecessary attention.

One thing I like is that the front of the headlight is much cooler than with the halogens, even with the highs lit.

Operatic, I have been thinking about doing the HID conversion on my 04 Maxima (from Halogen 9012's to the 9006's) but I have heard about problems with the bulb not sealing properly and members getting condensation inside their lenses. How do the 9006's seal and are there any modifications required to get the 9006's to fit into the 9012 housings?

Thanks

9012's are 9006's so you're all set in that area. Also, we haven't had any condensation problems caused by installing our HID kit. All occurrences we've witnessed were that of prior condensation problems

The quality is the same as the McCulloch kit. A lot of our customers even note that fact.

how much is it for an H3 kit in 3000k for st. patty's day?

Just an FYI for people out there, I went against my better judgment and bought a 3000k from another GD on here and i've purchased kits from operatic as well. Let me tell you this much, i'm returning my other kit and loosing money on shipping, and going back to operatic, shipping is faster, the condition of the kit looked better, more professional. and Operatic's kits draw power right from the battery, while the others use the factory power which is fine i guess but the gauge is obviously thinner...

long post short. buy from operatic, good warranty, fast shipping, satisfied customers, dont go to flea bay please... plus operatic is great at warranty issues if there are any at all...

Waiting to buy once i get a PM from ya thanks!

If someone wishes to opt for an HID from eBay that is their choice. But unless you've actually purchased a kit from us, I am not quite sure how you are stating that they are better

Sorry, I have to digress here. The adage of "You get what you pay for" does apply. Operatic's kits are leagues better than the ones you get on EBay. First, the ballasts on these are digital. Second, the harnesses are higher quality. Third, they look more "natural" than some of the ones on EBay.
Finally, with these, I don't have to worry about my wiring or anything else burning.

Here are some comparison pics for those interested.

Very subtle difference. The 6000K sort of give the 4300K a yellowish hue. I noticed no difference or reduced output form the 6000K bulb. I'm still driving with one each.

Stock 4300K on the left. New 6000K on the right.

thanks this is a very valuble post for those of us wanna see the 4300k to 6000k difference.

Operatic, could you explain to me what the difference is between the 35w, 50w, and slim ballasts?

And do you guys have 9006 single HID kit @ 5000k in stock?

50w puts out a brighter light than the 35w. Also, the slim ballast are just that, very slim, they are about the size of 5 credit cards stacked on top of each other, also the slim ballast only come in 35w.

Shops seem to charge anywhere from $45-120 from what customers have told me.

hey thanks for the kit. I have a slllight problem. i ordered the Custom Yellow HH color, but i dont think i got it, or maybe the coloring wasn't put on the bulbs or something. it charges blue, then turns into a 3000k to 4000k. it looks kind of halogen like. i looked at the bulb and it does have that yellowish tint on it as well. Nor does it initially charge green when i 1st turn it on. I have pictures of the output, what email should i send it to?

I'd like to see if i can get the coloring like you show in the 1st page of this thread.

Operatic, did you get those pics of the 50w compared w 35w in the fogs?

Anyone has pics of the H3 fogs 50w (or even 35w) 4300k-6000K in the stock 04-06 main housing? Street illumination pics or something so you can see the difference with the fogs on/off.
