Performance Clutch Kit and Aluminum Flywheel GD

I am trying to see how many people would be interested in a Group Buy on a Dyna Max extreme duty Clutch and aluminum flywheel.

Here's info on the clutch:

The South Bend Clutch Dyna Max XD (Extreme Duty) Racing Clutch for all:

84-99 3.0L Nissan Maxima
The Dyna Max XD racing clutch kit comes with the following:

High performance pressure plate
Extreme duty dual friction clutch disk
High quality release and pilot bearings
Clutch alignment tool
This clutch is rated for up to 450 horse power.

The South Bend Clutch DXD extreme duty racing clutch provides superior holding power over stock clutches without sacrificing driveability. The unique dual friction disk combines the holding power of Miba buttons and the high tech grip of KevlarŽ buttons. The heavy duty pressure plate offers greater clamping power without greater pedal effort. This combination has proven itself over and over on the street and on the strip. This is a must have for today's modified high performance vehicles.

They also make an aluminum flyweel. It is not in high production though so I need to see how many people would want one to get them to make a batch.

The first estimate for the deal is about $625 for both.

I think so.

The clutches are availible now, but there is a discount if you get both.

However, the flywheels are not availible until there are orders for at least 10. But they said that they are taking orders themselves as well, so it would just have to be a total of 10 to get the flywheels made.

The supplier is a place called south bend clutches, they custom make their own clutches. I have spoken extensively with a guy their named Eddie, and he says that the clutch is a significant improvement over stock, in his words "without sacrificing driveability".

The flywheel is from Fidanza. We can get them for between $335-$350 plus shipping. There is a discount if you buy flywheel and clutch. But the flywheel is only availible if we can get an order of 10.

I'll call them and see

Matt,

We need 10, but the VE flywheel is different right? Kaleb said that the VG flywheel should be similar to one off the 84-89 non-turbo Z's, which they already make, he was going to check on that from me but never got back to me, do you know? Well, anyway, I'll call them and see how many they have so far. They said if we could get a combined 10 (between the people I get, and the people they get) They'd do them for $319 plus shipping. LAst time I talked to them, they had 2. There are 2 other people from my post on th 3rd gen forum that said they'd do it. But with them me and you, that is only 6.

I'll call them and let you know.
