Does H&R actually make springs for 3rd Gen? I am not sure they do. A couple of you may be out of luck.

 

This is the list I will be sending to Avalon in the next 5 minutes except that list will have your real names as well. If I missed anyone that emailed me or have the year of your Max incorrect please let me know ASAP so I can fix it.

I will ask in the mail about H&R's for 3rd Gens.

Sorry Badboymaxima and lmaloney, there are no H&R springs for 3rd Gens.

Everyone else to order your springs follow these steps.

1. go to www.avalonracing.net
2. proceed to the online catalog
3. Go to the Maxima section
4. Add the correct springs to your cart.
- There is a separate item# for the 2k2's because they charge more for em. so if you gots a 2k2 select that set of H&R's and if you gots any other 4th or 5th gen select H&R springs that don't have a year listed.

5. Go through checkout process and fill out your info.
IMPORTANT: when you get to the comments section put the year of your Max in there, and mention the Maxima.org group deal just to make sure. He has the list of your names so it shouldn't matter, but just to make sure.

6. I am guessing wait till he contacts us with the total so we can paypal him. He also accepts Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover. I am going to paypal to make sure no funds are transferred until I have the final total to make sure it is correct.

I know thats why I said it was important to mention the group deal and Avalon said to put the year of our Max in. Since their checkout thin never gives us a total, only a subtotal, it is necessary that they contact us with a total. Which is good so we can make sure it is correct before we paypal em.

 

i have a 2k2 and their are 2 choices for 2k2 which one would i order. this are the 2 choices form avalon website a)hroo1 h and r sport springs for 2002 maxima b)hroo1a h and r sport spring for 2k2 so which one to order

 

I asked him about that myself. There is no difference. He said they must have messed up when making the website. There is only one set of H&R Sport Springs for 2K2. I selected hr0001

I've e-mailed Avalon and it came back; "With pay pal you can just send the funds to paul@avalonracing.net." How much? is it $185 still and what is the shipping to Freehold NJ? Usually seller will bill the person thru paypal with all this info listed. I need to know how much.

I also got a mail back, but it looks like an auto generated email from the website. It has the subtotal for the list price of $275.00 and no shipping charge. I am thinking once everybody submits their order then the group deal will be a go and he will contact us with the actual total so we can Paypal him. I will email him today to confirm how its going down.

 

The price is $185.00 + shipping between $13.00 and $22.00

$22.00 to the west coast - $13.00 to the north east and between $14.00 and $18.00 to the south and middle part of the country.

Are the 4th gen the same as the 5th gen, price wise? There is a $50 difference. Just wondering if they will be less than the 5th gen springs?

 

I don't think so. He knew we had both 4th and 5th gen Maxima's and stated that it was $185. Besides $275 is way too much for 2k2 H&R's when you can get them many other places for low $200's.

 

Alright i was just checking, because last night i went to order and they were 50 bucks less than the 5th gen springs. Thanks. I'll Put my order in now.

Do a little readin in this thread and you would have found out that the deal is $185 plus $13-$22 shipping. A list of confirmed buyers was already sent to Avalon. But I have a feeling that they wouldn't be against selling another set since he hasn't started shipping the original orders yet. Contact Avalon and find out if you can get in on it.

 

How much is shipping to Canada, if it's around $210 final price, I'm definately in if it's not too late, let me know please!

I paid earlier today, I think we are waiting for them to ship. Paul posted that he is getting a shipment next week, and he is shipping them out at that time. I believe he also gave a list of about 10 people who are 1st to ship out.

Nope I never rcvd a total, but I just decided to send him what I figured the total would come out to based on what he provided for my area.

 

I havent received a total either. Not sure if he is waiting to get more people or not.

 

Is any one that is getting the H&Rs goin to use there stock struts? Will they hold up?
