tranny dying?

This moring when i backed out of my driveway it felt like the torque converter stayed locked. and when i stopped to put it in D it stalled like a 5spd. is my tranny dying?

Maybe ur low on ATF

i check the tranny fluid it looked perefect and to the right level

it was -10degrees straight temp last night maybe that had something to do with it

Could be! Also with temps that low you are a great candidate for synthetic ATF. I flushed and filled with AMSOIL am have never been sorry. Makes a tremendous difference.

well... the same thing happened to me when my maf sensor started dieing... do you have an intake?? Cause my car would at first limit me to 2200rpm, and then later would stall when i put it in gear.

i have weapon-r intake but i highly doubt the maf would cause that. my guess is as good as yours

i dunno man, i didn think the MAF could do that to mine either. Well, hope for the best, but thats the reason i dont have an intake anymore...
