Okay I was unsuccessful with fog light rewire assistance please of course..

Guys,

I have done more than 4 rewires on Maximas, one even in a gas station parking lot in like 20 minutes. I checked the FAQs over and over again. The pink wire with the 2 gray stripes went to the clutch or AC relay not the FR FOG fuse. The only other pink wire was a pink wire with a blk stripe on it.

So being creative and trying to use deductive reasoning I tapped off the wire that was coming from the fog relay and guess what......

when I turned on my signal the corner marker blinked as well .............cool right.........no because my driver side headlamp blinked as well. again it is paining my to ask assistance on something I have done so many times before but the bottom line is the pink wire ( I checked and re-checked) is not near the FR FOG relay.

TIA

Pat

The write up in our FAQ is for a 2001 I30. That might be the problem.

I have done two wiring projects on the I30. Cefiro head lights and rpm switch tap on the ECU. All wires have been in the same position and the same color as a maxima so far.

I treated it just as the Maxima. I will post in FAQ in the morning, I want to check the wiring to make sure I get the colors correct in the description. As I am sure you know the fog lamps bulbs are a total pain to replace. I had to jack up the vehicle just to get access.

Thanks,
Pat
