Ok i have a 1996 I30 and just recently my car stopped beeping when id leave my lights on and the key is out of the ignition. how do i fix this? what could be wrong? i been messing around cause i did sum underdash work could that be the reason? is it anything with the cig lighter wires, i detapped sumthing out from those. thanx

check the fuse, perhaps it's blown?

hmmm could it be anything else. sumone had installed sumthing and tappped into the the wires in the fuse box in the cabin and its ghetto fused **** like that could that be it? im going to check the fuse today but im think it may be sumthing i should be concerned about you know espexially if theres a cut wire. also do u guys here a click noise when u press on the brake? my car has had a lot of eletrical problems so far, so im trying to get it stopped before anything spreads. i havent taken apart the dash really just underneath, but any helpful infdo would be greatly appreciated.

but my newest things are the brakes make clicks when i just tap it alittle, the car doesnt beep, and just little things like that. also when i turn on my ac or heat the fan makes noise is there anyway to stop that or where the fans are located. its in the passenger side that it makes noise. theres really nothing else. also i mounted switches on my ceneter console by the heat seat buttons and then snaked it through to by the pedals. any wires in there possibly? any suggestions?
