SES light on

I checked the FAQ's in here and 4th generation and could not find anything on this. Sorry if I missed it.

Driving home over Vail pass the service engine soon light came on. 71k miles, no problems with the engine, oil ok, temp ok. Stopped and started the engine and light is still lit. Any ideas before I have a mechanic check it?

You can take it to Autozone and they will give you the engine code for free. You can look it up on the org here...

Had it checked over about 3k ago. Bought it at 4k ago and have changed the oil twice. New exhaust, K&N, everything ok.
