Driveshaft seal installation tool??
Need a little help here. My car is a '96 I30 w/ five speed manual tranny.
I've got to pull the transmission, as the clutch has started slipping. I've got the factory service manual, and in the procedure for installing the drive shafts back into the transmission, it call for a special tool to seat the new seals in the transmission prior to installing the driveshafts.
Do I really need this special tool, or can I get by without it?
