Hey everyone!

My wife just got a new SUV and I just ordered a brand new auto dim mirror with digital temp W/ ice warning/digital compas/and dual LED map lights for her. I will be installing this myself and decided that I would like to take pictures of the process and put together a "how to."

I didn't do this wen I swapped out my mirror in the I30 and wish I did because it seems like this is a frequent question around here and in the Maxima forum.

Hey guys! Sorry this is taking a lot longer than I expected. My wife and I are in the middle of selling out home and purchasing another one and we close in 2 weeks.

I have not had time to do this mod yet, but am hoping to have it done within the next month! Sorry for the lenght!

BTW, is this mirror a Nissan product? What car did it come off of?

 

NewLoveI30: The mirror is actually brand new. It is not off of any certain car. I purchased it from a guy who is a dealer for Gentex. Gentex is the company that I believe makes the auto dim mirrors for Nissan/Infiniti and other car manufacturers. If you are looking for a new mirror, let me know and I can help you out. This guy is great to do business with.
