I30 Boogie

Just giving you guys a quick heads up.....

My driver's side seat front and back adjustment has not worked in awhile. All other adjustments work (i.e. seat back, lumbar, height etc) just the front and back movement that has gone out. I just spoke to everythingnissan.com and there seems to be a "seat slide motor kit" produced for my car (2000 I30) which addresses the problem. The price quoted was $169.19 + shipping.

A few questions:

1) anyone have experience w/ this kit? if so, is there a write up available?

2) is this a reasonable price? (compared to the dealership quote this is a STEAL - assuming it works)

1) I don't have experience but this issue seems to be covered in TSB including servicing procedures. If you would like a copy of them PM me your e-mail addy.
2) Part # is 87562-C9926. Exactly the same price at Conicelli Nissan. I think the price is very reasonable.

i had this happen to me. you need to replace the seat track and motor. if you are under warrenty the dealer will do it for free for you. otherwise they want like 450.00. or if not you can do it yourself+ parts.
