Rear-view Mirror

My auto dimming rear-view mirror must be really loose or something because it actually falls from the vibration of the radio. I don't even play my radio that loud but the vibration from the bass of the radio causes the mirror to fall and I constantly have to re-adjust it. Has this happened to anyone else or is there a quick fix for this?

The mirror is attached to the ceiling with three screws. Are you saying that the screws are not loose but the mirror still falls?

I didn't mean the whole mirror falls off the ceiling... I'm talking about the joint the mirror uses to swivel around is loose because I can set the mirror at the place I want it and the radio causes the mirror to go down out of the position I put it in. I just wanted to know if anyone knows how I can make the joint more stiff so that it wont move so easily. I hope I explained that well if not let me know please and thanks for any help

I see. I looked for some info but even FSM doesn't cover this.
I'm planning on making an electrical connection for the mirror. It doesn't involve disassembling the mirror, but I will post if I find something that may be useful to you.

... there is a screw you can access in the center of the mirror.. behind hte mmirror .... hmm it has a rubber little plug covering the screw... you can see it if you look inot the inside through windshield... any how.. tighten this screw and it shoudl stay up.. mine is nice a stiff... ... the mirror. that is... = )

if you really cant find it .. ill take a pic or something but look for it.. tighten it... and see how it works..

PS... you might need one of htose stubby little screwdrivers.. its at a weird locatioin cuase the windhiled is in the way...

hope this helps

I tightened the screw on the back of the mirror and that was a perfect solution it doesn't move anymore. Thanks a lot man!

damn, i had that same problem but had to figure it out myself(didnt have enough post to start topic)... stuff like that should be in the manual since they even show you how to change plugs in there.
