Please help me decide

I'm not sure if I want to go with the Ground Control coilovers + stock shocks/struts or if I want to go with adj illuminas + h&r, maxspeed, or sprint springs?

If you had these two options which would you choose. I would love to go GC + Illuminas, but right now don't have the $$$. So any comments will be appreciated.
Oh and this setup would be on 19" wheels (19x8.5 fr 19x10 rear).

Id say to go with the H&R's with the Illuminas, especially with the 19's. But if you really want the GC's, Id suggest you wait till you have the money for the illuminas. You'll blow your stock struts in no time.

I can only speak on experience of Tein S-Tech springs with KYB GR2s, stock, and the Tein H-Tech with Illuminas I have now. I can highly recommend the latter - my current setup.

Personally, I've never heard good things about GCs. But if you're determined, at least get Illuminas as stated above. Do you want GCs for ride height control? If that's the case, get some D2 or K-Sport coilovers instead. But if you just want a comfortable drop, I'd say go with springs and Illuminas.

Bad info... The Illuminas are 5-way adjustable. Great shocks!

Ground Control's will be a rough ride from what I've heard. I doubt your stock shocks will last long at all on GCs, especially if you slam the yatch. Your ride will be better with any of the other springs you mentioned and your stock struts should last longer as well. I ran for about 6 months on H&R plus stock struts with no problems, btw. I'd also recommend looking into Tein springs as well as those seem to be very popular nowadays.

Illuminas with H&Rs or H-Techs (preferred). If that is not low enough, go w/ S-Techs.

Unless you know what you are doing setting up coilovers, or unless you have the cash to pay someone knowledgeable to do it for you, you will ruin any handling balance that you now have.

Thanks Everyone!!!
I guess I need to save my pennies up then. It seems that the unanimous choice are the illumana's. Of course those have to be the $500 set, lol. Got the wheels on today, pics to come. ;-)
