A32 w/I35 Grill!!!
It's not done, but just about, I'm still up in the air whether or not I should pop off the mini emblem and leave it with the droop, or if I should carefully eliminate the droop (where the original logo is.) But it fit's VERY nice, I think it looks sick, the pics don't do it justice, it looks ghetto within three feet but I'm not 100% finished, it will be very nice when done, the hard part is done (the part where you say, crap, I hope I'm not going to ruin two perfectly good grills.)

Cool project... I thought this was just someone else asking if you could swap the grilles out
I would definitely try to shave the "droop" since you cant remove the big emblem. Maybe paint the surround body-colored after you are done.
Keep up the good work though.

Very interesting... I did put in a JDM A33 Grille on my A32 before:

That is pretty impressive. I too think the droop should be eliminated and it'll be perfect. Slap a set of Cefiro headlights on there while you're at it and you'll have updated the look of the car by at least 5-6 years.
Props to you for being the first to do it and actually DO it.
Now prepare yourself for the bombardment of PMs saying..."dude, how'd you get that PHAT tyte I35 grillz on your ryde??"

Yeah I always thought the mini logo was part of the grill, but it actually pops right out. In photoshop I removed the droop and it looks way better.
Yeah I need to do something, I'm not sure if it will look nice white, but it might. I don't know who makes it, but somebody just came out with a chrome paint that actually looks like chrome!! if I did a real good job at prepping it and used an adhesion promoter I could get real good results, but what I would really like to find is a gunmetal spraypaint that was actually that black chrome real gunmetal look to match the i35 grill, I think that would look sick.

To get rid of the droop I just ran a peice of tape to give myself a line, then used a dremel, after the dremel I used a file to get it pretty good, I could have done better but you can only tell when you're up close, and I don't really care how it looks up close. As for the G35 emblem, it took some *****, I thought I ruined it and that it was never going to work about halfway through. The problem isn't that it's bigger, well it is, but it also sticks out ALOT more, so basically you need to take it to a bench grinder and grind the **** out of it, get rid of most of the back (clips + about a 1/2 inch), then I had to test fit and grind a little off the recesses for the slats. after about twenty trips back-n-forth to the bench grinder a few peices of 3m body molding tape and your good to go.
YES! I know, it's killing me man, i need cefiros and paint for my front end to look good, I think about it everyday, however I'm selling my benze and I doubt I'll have any $$ left after the 3.5 swap and subframe connectors to even fill the nos bottle
Oh and I didn't use the chrome paint, it's still gunmetal, however I used that stuff on the ugly beat-up rims on my benze and they look friggin' ridiculous!!
