So I parked at a mall, and when i returned to my car, my two side mirrors were dangling, so i know someone purposely did that. i didn't mess with anyone on the streets, nor do i have any enemies. therefore, some people have the nerves to f-up other people's property. those kinda people should be tar and feathered.

i'm not that mad about the money on having to replace it. it's just the idea of people messing with your stuff. have the damn decency to respect people's property. i suspect it was high schoolers, since it's spring break now.

that said, what does everyone suggest i do? buy ebay mirrors? go to a chop shop? junkyard? ebay mirrors are about 100 total for both - new, but doesn't come painted, so add another $100 probably for the paint. also, i assume that on ebay, 95-99 maxima mirrors will fit my 99 i30 right?

 

Yep they will. Just make sure the Max mirrors match the color of your car. Hopefully you don't have any power mirror/wire damage.

I would go to a junkyard first, remember 4th gen maxima mirrors are the same. If I got new ones I would get the power heated mirrors from fleabay. If it is insured, get a dealership quote, then get the mirrors yourself. Usually the dealer charges enough to cover the deductable plus more.

 

Yeah, this type of **** sux.

I got keyed last year and wanted to cry. They got the front fender and both passenger doors in multiple areas. Some people are just a$$holes.

I dont have an A32 so i dont know... But does anyone sell LED mirror replacements? I know they have the covers, but that doesn't help. Just an idea.

 

screw that...get 6th gen mirrors.

or you could go 1337 jdm with ebay CF mirrors.
