My weekend
My weekend
Friday afternoon, I took the first steps towards engine management: I picked up a WB02 controller from this guy (who is in toronto):

So here's a picture of the controller from my cellphone. I'm just waiting on the Bosch WBo2 sensor, and I'll be able to start tuning my AFR.

Whew! Good Friday for me, even with the crappy storm that hit us in Toronto.
Then came Saturday. Oh Saturday, how I'll remember you.
Renman has to work at 9:30 Sat morning, but isn't too sure of where to park as he's working in a downtown toronto park ona site visit, not in the office.
He finds a parking lot, but it's a little bit aways from the work site. No problem, Renman walks to the site, about 10 minutes away.
Finishes work at 2pm, and heads back to his car to get ready for a wedding reception he has to go to.
I get to my car, and my jaw drops and I see red. I actually see red.

I think if anybody was around me, I may have lost it. Some SUV, truck or van backed into the front of my car HARD and dented the hood, pushed and cracked my driver Cefiro light, and scratched the top of my bumper. They also crushed some fins on my tranny cooler and air condenser, but that is not as bad is it could be.
Some of you may remember that I got t-boned a few weeks ago. Well, I'm not going through insurance for this. Total estimated cost will be just under $1,000 for a new hood, rad support, labour, paint, etc.
I'm using my stock headlights and will be losing the cefiro's for now, unless there are donations.
Anyways, I headed to the reception and had a good time, but the rest of my saturday was so bloody sucky.

^^^ hahahah thanks man! Reading that made me feel better, cause I'm sure that's what was coming out of my mouth
If there was anybody around, I'm sure I would have punted them for a field goal.

Sucks man... and I've been exactly where you are. I parked my car one day and a truck must have slammed it! You could even see where the ball hitch off the truck smashed into the grill. The hood was not as bent as yours but needed to be replaced regardless. The slightest collision will activate that crumple zone crap. Anyways, I had to pull my hood, buy a new one, have it painted, and then install it again.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Thanks i30ds. Sorry to hear about your mishap as well.
On a more pleasant note, I've recieved the car, but I had to rewire the headlights, as they had to use my USDM light, not the Cefiros (as the backing on one is cracked.
The car looks good except for the lack of Cefiros, as one stock headlight is REALLY yellow and the other is quite clear. Time for a polishing job.
