Auto heater on-car wants to stall
Auto heater on-car wants to stall
Help me out here guys!
I had one code showing, which was the coil code, so i just replace those. I thought that might take care of this problem too, but apparently not. So here's what happens(2000 AT i30)when i hit the auto button on climate control, the rpm's really go up and down, like it's missing a spark plug or something. If it's in park, or in drive with my foot on the brake, it will stall. I replace the radiator a month ago, and the problem has continued thru. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

It sure sounds like a vaccum leak... Also, keep those old coils around, that may come in handy.
Just for giggles though (and a much cheaper route than the coil packs) remove & clean out the TB & IAC. It can't hurt, its DIY and in the process you might look closely for a line/thin black tubing either disconnected or off from the brake master cylinder area.
Interesting that you are not also getting more codes for this issue.....
Be sure to get the 2 gaskets for the TB & IAC when you do them

I appreciate all of your input! After digging around in my engine area, i saw that the air filter from my cold air intake was disconnected. I connected it and problem solved!!!
LOL
Thanks Again,
