Cefiro Headlights on I35
I've searched through and discovered that most people are doing the Maxima/I30 to Cefiro headlight conversion, and I can see why (especially with the 96-97 I30). But I'm interested in using the Cefiro headlights in a 2002 I35.
I'm aware that the light dispersion will be different, and I am guessing that the bulbs required on the Cefiro were not D2R, but I don't intend to use the headlights for the stock reflectors. I just want to make absolutely sure that they'll bolt up without modification (aside from the bulbs).
Are the JDM Cefiro headlights a direct fit for the I35? Did the Cefiro come with factory HID?

The A33 Cefiro headlights overseas were 99% halogen aka same as the 00-01 I30 headlights in design and fit. If you want a different look like the smoked headlights you want the OEM 00-01 I30T headlights which were factory HID and D2R.

Halogen is alright. That's what I suspected. I intend to use the headlights for a retrofit only, so I hope to use the stock internals (albeit with D2S bulbs) mated with a new projector. I am glad to hear that they're the same design and fit as the I30 headlights though.

Yes, they will fit... however, you may want to retro your own projector in there as most of the aftermarket projector Cefiro Headlights on ebay doesn't really light up the road... Just my $0.02
