What do I need to buy in order to give my i30 a tune up @ 175,000 miles

I have a 2000 infinit ii30 and wanted to know what I needed to buy to give my car a tune up.

The codes I got for the machine were

p0300 (random misfire detected)

p0400 (ERG airflow)

P1320

p0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

will a tune up fix these issues?

Po420 - I believe is a O2 sensor.

Bank 1 is the front O2 sensor....there are 3 sensors if I remember correctly.

Random misfire may be cured by new plugs....if not, one of your coils may be going bad.

Tune up usually consists of spark plugs, oil change, air filter, other fluid changes (power steering, coolant, brakes), possible tranny flush if you havent done it in a long time.

Also, it wouldnt hurt to give your car the seafoam treatment....one can in your oil and half can sucked through the vacuum hose on your intake manifold....shut car off and let it sit 5-10 minutes. Restart car and hold RPMs around 2000-2500 and watch the smoke bellow out. After 3-5 minutes, take it for a drive and floor the pedal at times.....this will clean out all the carbon buildup in the EGR, intake manifold, cylinders, etc. CHANGE OIL AND SPARK PLUGS AFTERWARDS.

Yes, it will clean out your entire fuel system as well. Best fuel treatment you can buy IMO. I run one can in the gas tank every other oil change.

P0420 is most likely your catalytic converter. My I30 was serviced with this
same code before I bought it and mine was replaced along with O2 sensors.P1320 is one of
those codes that may be easy to fix by replacing all coils or could be hell trying to figure out and can be caused
by something else like cam or crank sensors.More info can be found in 4th or 5th gen forums.

Just go ahead and do plugs, throttle body clean, fluid changes (Oil, tranny, Brake, etc.)
