Injen intake placement

How many members have the Injen CAI that sits right behind the radiator? That warm/hot air from the radiator can't help out with performance. Has anyone made a air duct that redirects air from underneath, or from the side?

I was thinking about cutting apart the stock air intake system to funnel colder air towards the filter, and some kind of heat shield between the rad. and the filter. Maybe cover it with some dynamat to block more heat or something.

Questions, comments, rude remarks?

Doesn't matter, won't add much gains regardless. Just do it for the noise

It's not worth the work. Just twist the tubing/bracket so the filter can sit closer to under the battery.

Dynamat xtreme can be used as thermal or sound insulation. I was also considering putting some on the driver & passenger flooring, under the carpet.
