PM Aackshun, he works for a large Nissan/Infiniti salvage place in Texas. He should be able to help you out.

here are some issues that I am noticing so far,
A/c could be colder. Pressures were 25/125

Rear passeneger window doesn't work, no sound of a motor. Going to open the door panel and see if the motor is still connected, if it is, I am going to assume it needs a motor.

Cruise control does not work. No response even with just hitting on/off button.

Subwoofer not working...going to take it out and let the computer shop next to the shop try resoldering it.

for a 2000 i30t with just 152k at $900 those problems are really minor, nice find! with a car that cheap you would normally expect much more to be wrong with it.

Yep all minor issues. I believe there's a thread in the 5th gen section on fixing your Bose subwoofer.

One thing to consider is flipping the car. With what you paid for it, you could easily make a few grand reselling it, even if you put some money into fixing up a few things on it and giving it a good detail. The cruise control could be something as simple as a vacuum leak.

The threads I've seen show a slightly different subwoofer. I don't have a circuitboard before the harness wrapped in foam.

I doubt vacuum leak in the cruise control. I should be getting a cruise light at least but not able to set or hold speed if it were vacuum

I figured out the subwoofer, there is a white wire it may be attached directly to the speaker material itself....if I touch it, the sub comes on so I need to take it out and check the connection.

I got my baby from my mechanic's client for $2500 in January. It had 233k km (not miles) at the time (now 255k)....The only problem i've encountered is the passenger high beam harness is dead...the car must have been in an accident before (i bought the car report but didnt look at it...$2500 if the car breaks i'll buy a new one lol) because the passenger headlamp doesnt look stock and the hood has a bad paint job...needs to be re done

Other than that it is decked out. Heated steering wheel, rear seat warmers...the guy even sprung for the automatic rear sunshade which is nice when the car sits in the sun at work. I installed a navi/HU and am going to buy a backup cam this week
