LED Tailights (Need pics of them installed)

I've been looking at the eagle eye led version. Regular style, clear on the top, red on the bottom. Preferably majestic blue. Kinda on the fence....Thanks in advance guys!

Here's on mine, although it's Aspen White Pearl instead of your blue. I like these a lot more than the stock ones. Just make sure to get chrome covered bulbs for the turn signals, as I did, or the amber bulbs just look horrible IMO. Sorry some of the pics make the taillights look cloudy, its that my old iPhone 4 didn't take the best pictures ever, hopefully my new 5 will take some better ones. Although the first, sixth, and seventh ones was taken with my point and shoot (and it's not a ghost, its just my dad in those last two lol)

The only problem I had was that one of the mounting holes in the car had to be made bigger to let the mounting bolt on the taillight to through. Other than that, it was fine. Also be careful when plugging them in since if you put a plug in backwards, it won't light up for either the parking or brake light, I forgot which one. Other than that, they have been fine for me. I did have one little issue but its isolated to if you have the cover to take out the third brake light if you have the spoiler installed.

I haven't noticed any difference. LEDs are a form of solid state lighting so I'd think that they would be fine with cold temperatures as long as they are encased and protected against the elements. My friend has told me that really the worst thing for LEDs is heat as it decreases their lifespan.

Okay, good! I was more concerned with the boards and guts of it. I read about some of the old versions had problems...not necessarily the I30 tails. Thanks for all your help! :-)

No problem! just be careful putting them in. One light housing (far right in my case) ended up needing a hole on the car made bigger. But in my attempt to force it in, I must have screwed up a seal and some water got in. I just used some black silicone to seal it perfectly again and now its fine aside from a little substance that got left from the water in it evaporating but it's really not that bad.

Here are mine installed. They fit great! I didnt have any problem with the plug going in the right way, or the right side needing to be drilled out? But, good looking out, it just made me more cautious installing. Cleans up the back end alot! IMO

You guys and your LED tailights. Those things turned out nice. I should look into some for my 02 I35.

Here is a link to some LED tails. It says, 00-04 i30. But anything over 02 is an I35? Also, the turn and reverse lights are on the bottom. Might want to check before purchasing though. I love mine!
