2000 i30 dashboard half lit, headlight voluntarily shutting off
Hey guys... Got a 2000 i30 with lighting problems with the dashboard... Clock... And the passenger side headlight is going out voluntarily.. After turning the lights off and on again.. It works.
-recently changed bulbs in headlights (hid)
-recently changed foglights
-recently changed door lights, map lights, trunk light, reverse lights

was it perfectly fine before, ever? Or did you buy it like that?
Dash half lit usually means the interior dash bulbs are out. Damn we've got a ton of recent threads about this from others as well, must be a mass suicide of gauge cluster illumination bulbs
pass side headlight...Aftermarket lights, yes? iirc the i30T in 2000 didn't have factory HIDs. Likely you've got corrosion at the harness for that light, or the ballast is toasted. Check your wiring.

Have a similar issue on ours. Ours has factory HIDs. If you turn with the turn signal on and return to centered, the lights will flicker and sometimes one stays off and the interior lights light up like the lights are off. I think ours has something to do with the turn signal stalk. Which can be found for $60... But great grandma hasn't noticed yet. And it doesn't do it every time either.
