FSTB help

I know the max and i30 are almost identical but will a 4th gen maxima designed FSTB fit on a 99 I30 without fitment issues?

most likely yes.

Some 99's have a bracket on the driver's side strut tower that doesn't connect to anything, and must be bent / ground down / cut off for some brands of FSTB to fit.
