F/S 02 6spd SE blk/blk EXCELLENT COND!

**CAR IS SOLD - 11-18-12!**

The time has come, after ten good years - it's time to sell my baby.
-Asking $7000.00
-96,650 rounds on the clock.
-This car is in EXCELLENT condition inside and out.
-Car has been freshly detailed, polished, waxed, mechanically inspected (i have the papers) by my local Nissan dealer, and ready to roll!
-The ONLY thing I had to replace, was an LCA due to a defective Bushing.

-I am the orig. owner, purchased new in Atlanta. No accidents. Non-smoker.
-Clean title / carfax (yes, I HAVE it!) and title IN HAND.
-Car spent the first half of it's life in the south, and is virtually rust-free!

-Too many extras to list all of them, but here's the highlights:
-Courtesy FSTB / RSB.
-All season floor mats.
-New Battery two years ago = Duramax GOLD.
-Front H&R Springs on OEM Struts front / OEM rear. Struts have approx. 45k miles on them. Rear H&R's in box, included.
-Tinted Windows
-Trunk Debadged ("maxima se" emblem)
-6th gen front BBKrotors + calipers + Hawk HPS Pads
-Rear Rotors + Calipers new 2 yrs ago. +Hawk HPS Pads
-Brake fluid flushed 2 yrs ago
-New Sway Bar Links
-Fuel Filter Replaced @ 80k mi.
-Hidden Hitch with 1 1/4" receiver (bike rack, etc) and wired for trailering
-OEM 2000 Maxima Carbon Fibre-look black taillamps
-5000k HID FogLight Conversion with separate wired/switch circuit
-Foglight Lenses replaced @60k mi, and 3M clearguard added.
-AMSOIL Synthetic Media Long-Life Air Filter
-Bridgestone Potenza 960a/s tires with 4/32+ on all four tires, and included in the asking price, I have a FULL set of unmounted Dunlop m3 snowtires with less than 5k miles on them = better than 7/32 tread remain.
-Mobil1Full Syn. has been run exclusively in my engine since 15k miles, and changed reg. @ 5-7k miles.
-Motor is BONE stock, and never been modified. This engine DOES consume abt. 1.5 qts of oil (synthetic) between OCI's, but has been compression tested, and passed -- it runs great!
-I have already replaced two motor mounts, and have three more new in a box. (didn't really need it, just wanted to be sure)
-I have many misc parts and acc's that I will include in the asking price.
-Trans and Power Steering fluids have been swapped with Amsoil Synthetics.
-Coolant has been flushed and replaced with Nissan Long Life.
-Recently replaced LCA's and all bushings in front end, including front strut mount assemblies.
-I have ALL service records and receipts.

*Aside from having the normal wear-and-tear of a 10 yr old car with 100k, it looks, drives, and feels like a car HALF it's age!

This one is a gem, and is well worth my asking price with all the extras I am including. Please PM me if you are interested!

Nice car!! Love the 2k taillamps. So you say it is virtually rust-free. Is there any rust?

I am kind of interested but not at 7k. I'm sure you know KBB value is much lower than that.

Yup!
And with the list of credentials, inspection, clean title, one owner, snow tires, extra parts, and 6spd black -- I don't have to justify my asking price.

As with ANY car that has seen a few winters, the underside has some surface rust on the exposed metal pieces and members.

If you don't believe me about the rust, why don't you make an apt to come SEE the car??

Trade-in value on this would be between $5,500-$6,000; Retail value would be around $8,400. $7k is a pretty legit price for this car. Super clean, well maintained, under 100k miles. Definitely worth $7k, or at the very least $6,500 maybe. At least in my opinion.

Couldn't have said it better myself! Thanks for that Nate.

Yes, guys - I work at a dealership, and I could have traded-in for $5000k, but I knew it was worth more. And we go by NADA Clean retail, and that IS $8500+.
Oh, and btw -i'm the guy who buys, sells, and appraises the cars @ my dealership....so, yeah - I KNOW what it's worth.
I spent over $500 alone at our shop getting the car touched-up, polished, headlights resurfaced, and all the parking lot dings removed before I listed it. So, go ahead and add that to the tally!

The car has been professionally inspected by a Nissan master Tech, and it passed with flying colors. I have the inspection book to prove it. (no, you don't get a warranty!)
Go on....go find a nicer, better maintained, better condition, better looking Maxima, 6spd, with the same pedigree....it does not exist....in Iowa!!

This car was just too nice, and too well-maintained with lots of nice extras to sell on a used car lot -- so I decided to try and sell it here to someone that would appreciate it for what it is!

Also, have you found why the engine is using oil?

It consumes oil because almost every early VQ35 consumes oil. It's in the ring design. The car won't smoke or run bad and you'll still get 200+K on the engine, but you'll have to keep an eye on the oil between changes and keep adding as needed. If it ever does go, replace it with a 2006-up VQ35 and all will be well.
