My 1997 SE was stolen over 2 decades ago. It was a car that I loved dearly and to this day I’m still upset about it. I had several mods installed; clear corners, short shifter, springs, Greddy exhaust, and intake. The nostalgia bug has bitten me and now I’m on a mission to find a similar model. Aside from the forum, do you have any suggestions for locating one?

Many cars of this generation are still in daily use in some parts of the country.

Generally in areas where road salt is not used.

I live in the Pacific Northwest.
I see 4th generation Maximas every day.
Their bodies are in good condition and rust free.

California would have them too.

The southern states would as well.

Look on Craigslist.

 

I live in the Bay Area. I tried looking through the usual sites like Edmonds and Autotrader but didn’t find anything. Craigslist might be a good one. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

I am also PNW and I drive 2 of them, probably see a Maxima 4th gen every day
