Roadkill to and from Maxus

No pics but on my way to Maxus, I saw a deer ripped totally in half and blood was everywhere. I saw another deer with the back of his neck eaten off and a dog in the middle of the road trying to rip some big clump of animal from the left lane of RT70. It was just crazy.

These are all comon place sightings in Texas. Sometimes you will catch people loading up a deer they hit into the back of their pick up. Waste not, want not.

spotted a coyote patrolling I30 in TX...either looking for dead things or waiting for a 18-wheeler to jump in front of.

Saw dozens of dead deer going to and from Texas. Many deer vs 18 wheeler encounters, what a friggen mess. I had to take evasive action a few times to dodge the dead ones on the road, going so fast at night and being so tired its hard to notice until the last second.

Whats odd is that of all the miles I traveled I only saw a live deer once and it was feeding on the side of the road. With my stock 98 I had many near misses, but with the 96 I barely ever see them let alone have to dodge or brake for them. Makes me think my car makes some sound that scares them away.
