I also converted my car to run on LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) instead of Fuel. Couple pics of the install.

Thanks.

The screen was too big so i had to cut the cover and relocate the buttons. I only ended up using the IRDA which lets me control the screen via remote control. I hid the IRDA sensor behind the glass part of the climate control.

I'm not too happy with my bonding & sanding skills but when it gets warm, I want to fix it up a bit.

can someone explain the difference between LPG and reg gas? does it burn cleaner or cheaper than gas? i never seen this mod but its different and looks clean

the headlights are sweetass. i was lookin for a pair of non smoked headlights (i wouldnt like the smoked cefieros on my car). where u get those?

LPG is pretty much propane. It burns cleaner than regular gas but has the same octane level as conventional gas. It is cheaper than conventional gas and it is offered in the united states, its just hard to find a supplier.

Thanks for the compliments.

The screen I used for the carpc is a 7" TView (touchscreen) about $200 on e-bay; I'm using a Tablet PC for my computer (basically a laptop), the one I have was $3400. I bought it for personal use but don't use it at home that much so i decided to use it for the car, it's a Panasonic Toughbook so it's perfect for the car environment. but you can easily use a laptop from e-bay for about $350 (you can buy one with a cracked screen since you'll be using an external monitor anyway); I use my cell phones internet access via bluetooth to access the net from the car, gps software (basic for now), bunch of mp3's, dvd's, etc...; i have a 12v charger for the tablet also so it's perfect for the car.; no more looking for cd's in the car since everything is on a hard drive now. check out www.mp3car.com for some ideas & details about car pc's.
If you're smart, you can easily have the whole setup for about $550.
I had to cut the screen & bond it to the original bazel, sanded for a couple of hours & that's the output; It's not nearly done but it's too cold to work in the garage & wife doesn't like me sanding inside the house.

The bi-xenons are e46 (taken out from a BMW M3 i believe). I bought them on e-bay also; I just installed them in stock headlights (like many members on here did).

For details about the LPG read this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=446186
all info is pretty much in there.

- Jason Bourne

FYI: I live in eastern europe that's why i decided to convert to LPG (gas is close to $5/gallon now). I don't believe it's legal to convert a car in the US.

Vrode by LPG - eto kak v Rossii ranshe modno bylo na UAZiki stavit' gazovyi ballon, i zapravlyatsya gazom. Vrode by LPG - eto propan s chem-to. Po idee namnogo deshevle, no v Amerike on zapreshen. Neuveren za chto, no vrode by iz-za opasnosti vzryva (esli po etoi bandure pizdanut', to ona vzorvet vseh i vsya!)

Very nice installs. I don't know too much about the LPG conversion, but I have a carPC as well and am going to be doing a projector retrofit soon. Nice setup. Are you using a front-end software to control everything? If not, check out Centrafuse. It's really easy to use and great customization.

Wow, nice job on the LPG conversion. I also like the bi-xenon conversion, I just helped a buddy do one on his 4th gen.
