Looks sweet...your H&R setup looks much better with these rims. How are you liking H&Rs?

i'm loving it, man. the ride is just unbelievable. i was so shocked when i took a ride into Brooklyn (pot hole city) just now and didn't even care about the bumps. the springs/shocks took 'em like a champ.

I have H&Rs and I love them, but I still feel bumps and will still avoid any ones I see, even small ones.

Are you a member of nycmaximas.org? If not, you should join. Everyone in NYC with a max (modded, slightly modded and heavily modded) is on there. Theres a big meet coming up too.

What part is hitting? Can you possibly trim the centercap enough to fit?

:edit: BTW I love the rims. Can't wait to put some on my 98.

in the rear, it's just the "prongs" that really aren't getting much clearance b/c i put a 10 mm spacer in the rear.

in the front, it hits the end of the axle and i highly doubt 10mm would cut it.

oh, and thanks for the compliment.

Maybe you can try installing 5mm generic spacers. No need for longer studs. It's worth a shot and if the caps still don't fit then you're not out that much money.

Ok well I thought that the caps could be trimmed and put in. Might need a new way to secure them if you trim the tabs but idk.

car looks familiar

wheels look really nice though. I don't believe I've seen them on a pearl 5th gen before, just black ones! Props for a nice car and of course the best color!

well, i'm pretty sure that i'd ultimately have to trim the tabs in the back and use epoxy to permanently fix them into place...

i just hate that i can't clear the axle-end on the front.

i gotta admit, the toughest part of buying these wheels was the i hadn't seen them on any other maxima with this color. i love the way it turned out though. gets a lot of looks...

and yep...this is the most awesome color for maximas.

Should look good. It'll just blend into the rim. I have my caps painted black just for contrast on my black car. I like the look. Go for the silver.

LOL why would you do that when you could spend <$3 a piece for generic 3mm spacers? My center caps wouldnt fit over axle nuts either on my Kanata KR7s so I just bought spacers for each wheel and now everything fits together perfectly. The best fix is a 3-5mm spacer.

I had these end cap things on the end of my axles too, preventing the center caps from fitting on. They were a bulbous-like cover for then end "nut" inthe middle of the axle. The shop just cut the middle part out with a dremel or something so the center cap wouldnt hit it. This was on my 96 maxima on the rear wheels, so I dont know if its the same for you.
