yeah this i the car i was talking about. and the other white and black car that was posted here was not a maxima it was a galant with a evo 8 engine swap.the owner of that car actually got hurt very bad building that car because he accidently cut a nerve on his left arm and still havent regain full feel. anyway i was soo proud to see a maxima on modified mag because im a regular reader of that magazine and many other import and other car magazines and ive never seen a maxima.

all that power, and he's still using pathetic stock brakes (Brembo rotors are not much of an upgrade) and supension/chassis mods are pretty basic - just some eibachs/kybs and nothing else.
Props for the turbo setup (done by previous owner?), but other than that there are alot of things missing from that car. Goes to show that "tuner" mags just care about power and underhood bling....
Actually, it kind of annoys me that a car was setup in such a backwards manner - adding a ton of power without addressing how to CONTROL that power......

Well at least Chris is getting credit for his build in the mag. It has his name at the top of the pics. He submitted the pics to the mag before he sold the car.

I guess the owner was going for a more 'sleeper' look...but props to him for doing his thing and getting some recognition for his work
