Last shots B4 winter mode

No more CF hood, now rolling on Stechs which are already traded for Progress Stechs are definitely for looks, they are actually 1/2" lower than the GC height. I ran them for a few months to tide me over from selling my GC's. Oh and I installed 20mm wheel spacers on the rear back in June. I am also running a stock air box as I sold the PRCAI. The bottom box is off a B13 Sentra. It has the hole on the fender side, so still sort of a CAI.

Thanks for the comments.

Steelies are ugly, but hell winter is a biach on cars so its better than beating up nice wheels. Thankfully I have the SE wheels with snow treads.

The white one is my cousins 96 GXE. It has a lot of my old parts on it. That hood is my CF hood which I just took off. He had my original hood, we just swapped. There are some rather out dated pix on my cardomain. Hes has a Stillen fstb & battery hold down, WSP Y & cat, Cattman B, Stillen muffler, Progress springs (soon to be Stechs), PR style CAI, (had a Stillen pop), 97+ headlights & grill, 97+ trunk & tails, 97+ SE rims, OEM fogs, junk yard engine and tranny w/ 5th gen clutch. He has about 250k mi on the thing and beats the **** out of it. I think hes replaced the drive shafts half a dozen times each. That could have been due to cut intrax springs, not just is driving. He also cant keep a wheel bearing on that thing.

The wind deflector is a stick on but it is covering marks from an OEM piece. It pisses me off too.

I completely agree...the marks are not worth it and I think its better to leave the ugly piece on.

Back on topic, your car looks great man, I love those wheels, and they must be light as hell

The wheels are claimed to be around 18 lbs. With tires they were around 47 according to UPS. Not too far off from stock.

The Progress springs will be on my car next spring. They probably wont last long seeing as I change my suspension about 2 times a year.

I already swapped in the stock suspension & wheels. Im riding high, like 4x4 high. I usually take off the front lip too, just not quite yet.

I dont have much plans these days. Some people make list of what they want to accomplish. I never did that. I just end up jumping on certain deals as they come up. If I see something I like and have the money for it I'll buy it. On the other hand I have sold many parts realizing some parts are just not my style. I still have stage 2 WSP SFC's and trailing arm bushings to install. I think I got those about 2 years ago now. I know I will get around to the bushings, but the SFC's Im not so sure. Something I have wanted for years is an equal length Y. I have the welder, just not the piping.

Sutter: your Max is simply stated and has the "less is more" look to it which is what I really like the most. It brings me back to the days when members on here would mod their cars with a touch of class. Those guys are long gone and what you tend to see now is a lot of, for lack of a better word, CRAP around here, what with the:

disgusting oversized chrome wheels
the guys who, without purpose, slam their crap chariots to the ground
the guys who don't realize that its 2008 and they still have ricer blue bulbs as if it were 2001
the guys who paint their stock wheels black and give the perception of undercover cop cars
mismatched and ugly body kits that are not well put together
12k hids kits in headlights and foglights (wtf is the point of this?)
guys who would put carbon fiber on their ******* if they could

I guess I'm just old school that way and I understand that everyone has their own taste but alot of the guys here have very bad taste.

In anycase, nice Max, and I look forward to see what you do with it next spring.

Ha, maybe my post was a bit confusing. In the pix I have Stechs. My cousins car, the white one, has the Progress. We traded springs. I wont install them till spring, however, I may not hang on to them so keep an eye out. I really want my Eibachs back.

All*Pro, I couldnt have said it any better. I used to have all sorts of crap on my car over the years. Im into the less is more thing now thank god. I cant stand blue, chrome, or anything else of that sort that comes of cheesy. And I do remember the good old days even though Im not an OG. I think due to ricer ebay parts and the age of the car (any 16 y.o. kid can get one) you see more and more riced out cars.

*no offense to ricers but your cars are indeed ugly*
