Mine. Haven't been able to detail her as much as I would like. Spent most of my time getting it running correctly.

Take your overflow tank off the fender (not at all hard). Flush the sediment out with a high pressure hose, then soak it over the weekend in a tub of bleach.

I did that last year with my (then) 9 year old reservoir tank, and it came out like new again. Well... new enough. Let's say 95%.

I like that. The contrast of the metalic orange is a little much, IMO, but it looks executed really, really well. Good job.

Now dress up that battery area.

The battery has since been dressed up. This picture is little old. I now have a new battery, tie down, and terminals installed. Looks much cleaner.

More orange bling for you... although I'm not sure what you've got going on there for a radiator cap. Actually, what is that? It looks... odd. Like it's busting through aluminum foil. I don't get it.

Anyway:

Everyone always thinks it's powder coat. Even up close in person they think it's powder. It's actually just bronze VHT High temp spray paint. I think it's $7.99 from any local auto parts store. I don't plan on going that far with the bronze. I don't want to overdo it.

Anyway:

I rather like that radiator cap. My current one is just the standard Mishimoto cap on a Mishimoto radiator. The light washes out the radiator's awesomeness.

Search "vms radiator cap" in Amazon. They have a variety of anodized aluminum colors. I just ordered one in gun-metal gray.

Rather wish the writing wasn't in the middle, but I have to get one in my hands first, before figuring out what to do about that. Paint, sticker, powder-coat, nothing at all... we'll see.

Oh yes, I've been following that thread for sometime now. I really need to get my hands on some dress up bolts. Every bolt is rusted or corroded under my hood.

I painted the IM, they spray degreaser let it sit for a couple minutes then hosed it down with a pressure washer, then blew all the water off, and put a little Armor all to make it shine....
