Can't even make reduced power/SES jokes anymore. Sigh.

Car sounds unbelievable after the downpipes too. Almost as loud as my VQ in a tunnel.

Almost.

I'd love to hear it, and see the car.

Maybe you can talk him into joining you for this year's Sedan Meetup, and maybe driving his car just because.

I don't think I can swing it this year. Too many weddings / trips this summer already. I'll post up a clip of the car soon. Suspension and new rear bumper going on in two weeks.

Installed this past Friday. Somewhat of a pain of an install without taking the bumper or radiator fan out, but not as bad as the downpipes.

Rear is going to be raised to match front ride height and then aligned/corner balanced once out of the body shop.

Those Vossen CV7 are a beautiful wheel, for sure. That deep matte silver lip with the polished 7-spokes, and the gently sculpted flat hub section... love those rims. Very classy against Moonlight White.

Zero, you bought Fortune CO's, you bum. It's like you're trying to make me jealous, LOL. Like a lot of RWD G's, Swift lowering springs gave me a droopy bum, too. If I had your kind of money to burn, I'd have bought those CO's to dial in the right height and take handling up a notch or three. And I certainly will get there someday... CO's are on the list, but a few years out yet. In the meantime, a simple pair of customized 3/8" poly bushing spacers between the rear springs and the top-seats have made everything right with the world.

The droopy bum isn't as obvious in that reposted pic from Max_Ride's comment, but the car was also leaning into the picture. The rear was at least 1/2" lower floor-to-fender than the front. But like I just said... all is right with the world now. Just did the mod a few days ago, and am waiting for things to settle before pics.

They were my best option to upgrade the weak points. A lot of people have said it's overkill for a street / Auto-X setup.
I had Koni Yellows on the rear and was not impressed. My original plan was to go with Swift Spec-Rs and Koni Yellows all around. Turned out to be a mediocre part in a sea of other weaker/worn bushings.

I saved up while running the **** Konis and went deep on a setup that should last the life of the car. If it needs to be rebuilt, cheaper than buying new struts or rebuilding the competitors. Also, nice to know if I want to swap the springs, FA will revalve the struts accordingly.

I keep telling Shshank to get the Swifts, but that is if he doesn't come to the dark side. He drove the 335 recently, and hopefully...

Zero, the car is looking hawt as usual man!

The kicker is the flashing the ECU with your phone man. I guess I shouldn't be so surprised by it. Something about saying "I need to turn up the boost, let me get my phone out..."

Thanks Sarin!

Haha, yeah it's not going to impress the ladies, but the whole ECU flashing thing is awesome. Can switch maps in 2 minutes. I bought an old Galaxy S4 dedicated to ECU flashing/monitoring/coding and OBD2 diag.

I say "effective", because if I didn't go through so much trial-and-error, bought two different sets of bushings, two extra rear top-seats, and pay my mechanic twice to drop the rear buckets and slip things into place... it would have only been $22.

But it's ok. I don't really mind, because racecar.

It was the little tension pulley on the uni-belt system. Inexpensive OEM part... I think around $30, IIRC.
