Very cool! I love urban metro backdrops. The skyscrapers really add dimension. What specs for your (the aakshun car) wheels and tires? Spacers?

Thanks! Im sure an actual camera and someone with some skill could make these shots a lot cooler 🤣

Too lazy to type on my phone. Here's a screenshot.

Wheel specs

Fronts have 25mm spacers (maybe 20, doooont quote me)

Rears are just direct bolt on.

Tires are 245/35 front 255/35 rear

Yes it rubs.

Right on! Thanks! Phone cameras are actually quite impressive these days. A lot more R&D going into them due to the demand. Good enough to the point that I couldn't tell the difference anyway

Oh and how do I get my hands on a set of headlights like the non-sunroof car has? I like that style. Subtle, yet modern, halos and deletes that ugly amber lens.Projectors too?

Yeahhhhhhh custom. Whoever does retrofits in your area should be able to.

That silver car is an org throwback. Like you time travel to 2009 maxima.org and ask them what to do to your 5.5gen literally that car is it.
it even had the Millie miglia wheels until he got the current volk ce28s.

You might be able to find pics of it on here from it's previous owner.

I think the company that made those halos were umnitanza or something like that.

Edit:
Oh god they still make them!

People have used fluorescent light covers in the past.

Soooo I SSIM'd the intake manifold, hacked it open and used a 4.5 grinder and went to town (should have used a 4").

Stepped it down with dremel bits and then dropped it off to the welder....

Got it back from the welder, installed my old flashed ECU w/ old 550cc injectors.....

Did some painting.....

Viola, installed. New ECU needs some adjustments to be perfect, it's st0000pid lean at idle (Not because of the SSIM, it was tuned for GTR R35 550s and not ID 550cc injectors, I think they idle compeltely differently, it pulls a p0300 at idle due to how lean it is), will need to adjust that someday, but it's still drivable and enjoyable. AFR's while driving are WAAAYYY better than before anyways and it pulls nicer to 7600. This makes me more comfortable to pushing the dyno tune back to the very last thing I do or never. I'm onto a BBK first then finishing my stillen lip kit and pretty much just letting the car live it's best life from there.

Anywho.... Done with actually trying to make power for once (kinda sorta lol).

Mid September I replaced the slave cylinder on the trans.

then I replaced the tires on the front, noticed some odd wear so I realigned the car at work.... And cleaned the car a bit.....

I still have a 5th gen driver seat installed. My hopes is to find a 07/08 black upper seat to go with my 6th gen conversion. The bolstering is much better on the 6.5 gen.

I also need to do something about my steering wheel. I may look into older Infiniti options since I want to keep my heated wheel and all button functionality.

Welp I didn't like how the car was braking, it slowly declined to the point where I do not like how it felt hooning around Houston. I decided to see what was going on.

Well... I decided to let one of our UTI underlings fool with my car while I surf memes at work anyways.

She was very confused (as was i after she told me the following) as to why my braking was of concern because we have not had a vehicle that had this problem yet while she was on the clock.
-Pad life wasn't low enough on all 4 corners to cause concern
-all rotors feel smooth and are within spec.
-all 4 calipers operated normally
-all sliding pins worked fine, no cracks in the boots

I had to get up out of my little office and re-inspect my car.
-The newbie however missed the oxidation on one of the rear rotors, noting that there is a serious issue with the caliper function... However after she did all the basic checks I drilled into her head (apparently she overlooked that rotor but it was still smooth other than a few spots).
Soooooo... I said lets brake out the brake fluid flusher machine thingy-ma-bob.

Brake fluid was kinda low but not below minimum... Also it was literally black.

I decided to order rear pads because they were at about half life and I really wanted new hardware anyways since the hardware was rusty on that "stuck" caliper.... at my job our basic pads (TSS - Total Stop Solutions) come with hardware, so yeeey.

Replaced hardware and pads in the rear, flushed fluid, I still have a soft-ish (softer than I want anyways) pedal buuuut..... As soon as I touch the pedal all 4 calipers hop right into action, even though I do not really feel it in the pedal (probably going to sway me towards SS line upgrades someday)., the braking is as crisp as it should be.

Anywhoooo, we have yet to have an opposed piston car come into the shop and I will probably hop to the Z32 front brake upgrade next week (I do not care for braking power, I'm concerned about appearances on this car which is why I'm doing Z32.... If you know anything about me you would know that I think the Z32 calipers are all for show and not for go....errr stop).

Shame on you for driving around with black brake fluid

I'm a little confused, where was the oxidation on the rear rotor, and how was it affecting braking? And what was the deal with "a serious issue with the caliper function" if she checked caliper function and the sliders?

I wish I took a photo. But imagine if your car sat for awhile, there would be some oxidation on the rotors right?
-The driver rear rotor was oxidized lightly while the rest were not.
-I thought it was a stuck caliper (happens a lot w/ fif gens) but the sliding pins weren't seized like they have been in previous experience.
-I Reset the caliper back and pressed the brake pedal and it came out... eventually.... Noticed it took half pedal travel to get the driver rear to move. So that's when I went ahead and just did a fluid flush and pad slap.

Took another shot at detailing today. I had some scratches from a gas can. Took a few passes with the dual action and well you tell me!

Andddd after

Had a bad day and decided to take the ol girl out, haven't driven it in about 3 weeks.

Didn't have a great outing but I did start to get back into the groove until someone wrecked 😭

Best run from the night.

scale also said 3630 weight, I'm 270ish.

That's really about it for this car as is, I think I can rock out a 2.0 60' but I'm better off just letting it be and getting it tuned and just let it be the car meet car.

These kenda kaiser kr20s however are proving to be a nice investment for $180 mounted and balanced. I will return then back to the red car and get that car on the track next then the grey 99 for the rest of the year.

Damn, that thing weighs 3,360? Remind me, has this engine been tuned on a dyno, and if so, what did it make?

Titanium Package doesn't pull any punches on the scale lol.

Well enough Jaw-Jackin.

Dyno-Tuning appointment set for 3/9 @ noon.

To-Do List:
-Check Exhaust For Leaks
-Oil Change
-Check fluids
-Air Filter and Pop charger install
-Fuel Pump and Filter replacement
-Buy GTR injectors

I sweaaarrrr if this car don't make anywhere near the ballpark WHP it's on the chopping block....... Maybe not, but I will certainly like it a lot less

A certain Gray 99 will make it's reveal for the last half of IFO's season. Too much money to spend on it to get it where I want it in a short period of time, also had some other unplanned unfortunate setbacks that I have to pay for.

My main focus will shift to another 99 of mine (a certain red one) after this car gets t000ned.

Goodness, do you think this will really make enough power to need GTR injectors? What's the rationale behind that?

The spray pattern is nice, helps combustion, better cold starts, and idle also a larger injector is needed due to e85.

There's also another injector that has been documented to make power on other applications but that's a bit rich for my blood right now... But I'd like to test it.... I may end up buying it if my tuner says it's worth a shot....

Well I moved my tune up to Tuesday, I got a call and my tuner asked if I could tune meow and well I guess now is better than later.

I am redoing the fuel system a smidge to accommodate for e85.

i dropped off my injectors at a local injector shop to have them cleaned and tested. Will have details of that later. As for the pump..... I have a wealth of A33 spare parts so I took apart one of my old fuel pump assemblies, ordered a new oem filter and AEM 340 fuel pump (same one in ol' Red) and re-assembled the assembly. Here are some photos.

Parts used:
Aem 340 lph avm-50-1220
New oem fuel filter.
Original fuel pump assembly from the car (the car currently has the walbro 255 and assembly from my old i35).

Anywhoooo on top of all of that, I ordered a new air filter and bellmouth for the intake and welp that's all the time and money I have for the t00n.

I really can't take any credit.... It's definitely a drop in mod.

HOKAY! QUICK RUSH IN A HURRY TIME FOR T00N!

Fuel Pump? Good (see above post)

Lines? Thug life #stock.

Injectors? Clean, tested, functioning well

Air Filter? New, also purchased a 7" bellmouth. Staying with 4" Maf and Intake tube cause I'm not too terribly interested in spending MORE money on this car. Plus with the RPMS going as high as they're (7600) going, technically a 4" will make more peak power (note the usage of the word "peak").

Fluids? Topped and checked (Coolant, Oil, Power Steering, Gear Oil).

(That staticky haze is actually rain drops... Well that's how it looks on my laptop)

E85? First 6 gallons went in, the tank was surprisingly dangerously empty when I did the fuel pump (Only the internal baffle had fuel left lmaooooo - My sketchy mpg math was on point).

How does it drive? Fine..... However any time I try to add a little pepper to the gas the AFR gauge pegs out to 10....... But light throttle driving the AFR actually stays in the 14s

Summary (incase you're lazy or if you can't understand what I type, also a high possibility).
To clarify. I have a tune for a 4" intake on stock 03 injectors. I put in a new pump, fuel and air filter, and 600CC injectors and the car is drivable... However extended idle is..... Rough.... And whenever I try to do anything more than oh... 15% throttle afr starts sinking hard toward rich. This is strictly a limp the car to the dyno setup. I feel confident enough to drive to work, fill up on e85 (trying to work out any remnants of 93), and get tuned.

272/264 Dyno!

Well this ended up being a torquey bastid.

This emanage ultimate dip is bought to by using a 4" maf on the stock ecu.

I'm sold. Hybrid builds for everyone. No more fooley macgooley hr swaps

Next hybrid build will be quite rediculous in terms of lego blocking.

My current mod list is always in the first post on all my threads.

I only made two changes just now, the injector cc was incorrect and changed the first line to say tuned on e85.
