Hello...

2014 Nissan Maxima SV w/2500 miles

General Manager, Mike Connolly, from Continental Nissan in Chicago. Gave me an unbelievable deal! Go see him if you are in the market...in Chicago. Great Dude!

Dropping in to say hello with my new 2104 Max. Bought it from Continental Nissan in Chicago. Got a heck of a deal as it was a service loaner with 2500 miles. So it's basically brand new as it hasn't even reached it's first oil change. I almost feel bad telling you what I paid for it. Its a SV...base I guess, as it doesn't have the Nav system or air cooled driver seat. Other than that I am thrilled with it. It's our first family owned Nissan as I was forced to buy a new car with the new job I am stating on 12/14. I've had company cars the last 18 years. The last two being Nissans. a 2013 Altima aand before that a 2010 Murano. So not new to Nissan but this is my first Max (which I've always wanted one). So this was my opportunity, I almost bought a Altima SL, but then my gut feeling kicked in and I bought what I truly wanted. Hope to learn a lot in here, don't plan on fully tricking it out, but do hope to do some minor mods. Starting with a rear spoiler and tint soon. Probably some lighting, exhaust, and maybe an air intake. Rims down the road. Consider it a blank canvas...What mods are you making to it while keeping mpg in mind as I am a high mileage guy with my jobs travels. What say you?

Welcome to the .org! I don't have a 7th gen, but there is a pretty decent following here, especially with modding. Give the 7th gen section a run through. A spoiler and tint would be awesome. When it comes to simple intake and exhaust mods, I can't say they'll do anything to your mpg. Some lightweight rims will help though.

I hope you enjoy your Maxima. Give it a good break in. Make sure to use premium gasoline as well!
