Hello All..
2012 maxima just replaced alternator (OEM) and new battery. Break and battery light are coming on together periodically. Sometimes just for a few seconds and other times stays on for a while. What’s is going on here…?

Check belt tension and wiring going to the alternator.

Check for codes.

A brake indicator + a battery indicator typically signals a failed or failing alternator.

Check the battery voltage with the car off.

Then check the voltage with the car running.

Then check the voltage with the car running and while under sufficient load.
