Paint chips stopped immediately - using this product

Well I bought a 2Kse 2 years ago. And before I could wash and wax it the first time I had 4 chips in the front hood with less than 200 miles - sound familiar.

Anyway, I applied my Diamond Brite (a teflon paint sealer) and now 2 years later have not gotten one paint chip. I am shocked, though I have used this stuff for over 12 years. I only apply it once per year (twice on the hood) and clay the car first.

No I don't sell it, but you may want to try it. Clay bar the car first then apply. Wait no more than 45 seconds, then buff off. Waiting longer will make it much tougher to buff off.

Their number is 1-800-334-8388. A 16 oz bottle will do 4-5 cars for only about $23.

I use this product as well...

I HAVE noticed some of the dreaded chips (but I drive alot where there are large trucks carrying God knows what).

It also does a very good job of staying shiny through a number of car washes.

Is this the same stuff that the dealers con you in getting when you buy a new car? I think it's by Ziebart or someting.

When I bought my Max, the dealer was trying to get me to buy this paint sealer and interior treatment for $500 (for a single application only)!

It could be the same product, but I would never have a dealer do one of those super high markup procedures.

Nevertheless, I do like using it.

You are correct, this is the same stuff the dealers rip you off to apply.

The Diamond Brite company owner got fed up by dealers ripping off people and contacted Dupont, I think and started buying the stuff in 50 gallon drums and maketing it himself.

no. ziebart's stuff is called diamond gloss and it's patented by them. i dont think they sell it publicly... have you seen it in stores?! ive had the diamond gloss service done on my car and i was under the impression that you cannot have it done anywhere but at a ziebart's shop.
