Dave B rules!

I called Dave B at 3:00 his time on a Friday afternoon to get a quote on some 95-99 strut mounts. My appointment to get my new springs installed is Monday at 9:00.

I figured it was a long shot and I was going to have to go to my local dealership and get hosed. But as usual, Dave B comes through. For $16 he will overnight them to my office for Monday's priority delivery. Grand total: $81.83

Bonus: He is faxing me the layout for the strut mount setup so I can dig through my garbage bin full of old parts tonight and find what I need to bring to the shop on Monday.

I just hope Fed Ex doesn't rape my strut mounts like they did my wheel..........

Re: Dave B rules!

that price is about right....I paid 72 total included tax from my body shop....good thing that my bodyshop get the parts for me at their costs.

so andy...u didnt change strut mount when u insatlled AGX....that could be why all the clunking sound are coming from. once u get the strut mount and compared to the 5th gen ones, u will know what I am talking about.

I have the Stillen camber kit. I don't have strut mounts.

And the clunking is 1000 times worse from the rear wheels. It is driving me insane.

They are dirt cheap. But they screwed up my crank pulley sensor big time so they are doing the spring install for free. They charged me $100 for struts. The place is a total dive. But cheap.

Ms. Thicknes... You are the BOMB!!!!!!!! Thanks for that e-mail...

the alternative is UPS (Ultimately Pathetic Service) I am astonished they are still the leading package service.
