I bought my escort 8500 used, from a friend, and he did not have the book...I was wondering how to program the settings, what do they all mean...I passed a cop today and it didnt go off until he was almost on top of me...so I think my settings might be tweeked...

Could someone please tell me what to set ALL my settings at, thanks! Also looking to get the loudest possible tone!
