At high speeds I hear a humming, maybe more of a whistling noise with the windows up. Could it be loose weather striping? or maybe something else. DId any one else have this problem?

 

I just started having a similar problem with my max. It idels weird and when im on the highway the engine hums and it hasent done that since my idle was weird

 

I had a whistling noise in my max when i bought it. I pinpointed the noise to the sunroof and replaced the weather stripping and that fixed it. I took it back to nissan and they replaced it for free

 

some maxima have a problem with a weather striping at the top of the windshield. The best way to see if this is your problem is to take the whoel top portion of the windshield. If the nosie goes away then thats your problem.
